Can I get some potty training tips from girl moms? I refuse to have this baby while Alivia is still dependent on diapers 😣 she’s 2. Knows what the potty is, knows you’re supposed to pee in the potty, but refuses to use it. She can tell me when she pees or poops in her diaper (and demands me to change her right after), but still doesn’t use the potty. What am I missing?

Give her a little time, while she knows she may not be ready and forcing her to do it early can cause accidents etc. You know your child best🩷 so try making it fun first? Letting her see you go? Putting a doll to go and having her clean up the doll? Picking out fun underwear for to wear? Maybe making up a fun potty song?

We did a lot of prep work about potty exposure and then the diaper fairy came and took her diapers away. Put her in undies the next day with a sticker chart. Then a firm boundary that we go potty in the potty. Gentle correction when accidents happen.

2 小時內	Lauren Jiles-Johnson ljilesj	When my son was 2, I bought him some underwear with his favorite heroes on it, idk maybe Superman. We put him in the cotton underwear, but no pants—it was summer. If he peed on himself, not only did he have the discomfort of water running down his leg, but he got Superman wet! After two mishaps, he was potty trained.
2 小時內	Becky Jean la.mama.loca2020	Have you tried letting her run around naked, or even putting her into undies and dealing with the mess? It's a pain in the butt, but very often getting them out of diapers completely, except at nap and night time, can give them the incentive to learn.
2 小時內	715amyp	I would encourage rewards, sticker charts, reenforcements, taking her every 2 hours and having her sit, even if she doesn’t go or diaper is wet, lots of praise, picking out her own underwear and letting her wear them and if she has an accident, she may not like the feeling, and may realize she doesn’t want to ruin her new underwear. Little steps! She will get there :)
