And yet, the light bulb isn't hanging there anymore. The sink faucet was fixed so the water turns off. The tub faucet no longer leaks steadily through the day and night. The cats does not overgroom anymore. The dog no longer has accidents on the floor. And I feel so many things. I feel thankful, but sad. I realized that the past 3 years have been a slow burn. That every time something is replaced or adjusted, I'm reminded of how simple it can be.
