I'm trying to get into a new show at the moment, but the lead actress is ... Not good. The entire supporting cast is top notch, but she's giving CW/Hallmark Channel and, as she's the protagonist I think I'm going to have to abandon ship. The thing that gets me is don't casting directors (or whoever is responsible) see this? Don't they look at the performances and notice the discrepancy?
