I volunteered to take the next flight to Davao after they downgraded the aircraft and needed passengers to give up their seats. When I heard the compensation (a ticket for the next flight within the day, a free RT travel voucher, ₱3,000, and a free meal), I didn’t mind the inconvenience of waiting a few hours. Sometimes, giving something up can lead to something better. You just have to wait patiently. 🙏 Excited for my free flight and yay for pocket money for my first Mindanao travel. 🎉
