As an aspiring content creator, I’d hate to limit myself. I typically wear extended straight sizes (XL, XXL, 17) over plus sizes (0X, 1X, 14/16W). I’m also on a weight loss journey so eventually I will be straight midsize. I follow both midsize and plus size creators so why shouldn’t my content cater to both?

It’s delusion.

Because plus sized women don't like being called that anymore. It hurts their feelings.

I thought mid size was 12-16 because you can shop in both misses and plus sizes

All of it is plus size. Some just felt the need to micro-categorize because they are plus size but they are not a 6XL and they want to make that distinction. Mid-size is plus but can still find a lot of their clothes at a standard store like H+M or in the straight-sizes at Target. Then there is fat, super-fat, and infini-fat. 🙄 Fat is like 16-20 or 22, harder to find clothes but can shop in a specialty shop like Torrid. Superfat is size 20 or 22-30, specialty shop/ online only specialty shop. 1/

I always thought it was sizes 8-12

every size looks different with different body types/height so someone who is 5’11 at a size 16 would look extremely different than someone who is 5’5 at the same size
