my partner and I absolutely love Norway. you're so lucky that you could live there, imho it's an easy decision. school shootings / violence and women's rights in general are top of mind when we think about other places to live.

Norway is bliss. I was there with my son this summer (we have family there, many many cousins) and that was all we talked about - America and guns. And them being fearful of their kids studying here. America is just so wrong and frustrating and impossible! Ps- family is in olden and my 17 year old son taught himself Norwegian (with my family’s dialect) and we love Norway!

As a Canadian I would not want to send my kid to school in the US. Totally understandable why you would want to move.

I would go if possible. I m not sure how old your daughter is but it would be a great experience and safer.
