This AI discussion is so weird to me because...it's not writing? Like, at all? Don't anthropomorphize AI. It does not think, create, imagine, or write ANYTHING. It just maths and predicts. It is not actually intelligent. Anyone using it to "write" their book is really selling their own ability, skill, and creativity short. If you're the worst, slowest, dullest writer on the planet, you're still better than AI because you are actually MAKING something. I mean, live your life, I guess? But?

一天內	Michael Habib habibinator	Wholly agree that it’s generally best not to anthropomorphize AI software. I also agree that, on the whole, its writing is not very good. However, we do also need to be honest with ourselves and realize that all our brains do is math and predict, too. Thinking, imagining, and creating are all emergent properties of neuron math. It’s not that our minds are magic and machines are mundane. It’s that our squishy cellular networks still kick the pants off artificial ones on most tasks.
