Nature is healing... well, at the very least, sea lions are having a great time in California. Hundreds of them took over San Carlos Beach in Monterey last week — a rest stop on their annual journey from the Channel Islands. Sea lions have been protected by the federal Marine Mammal Protection Act since 1972.
