I generally agree with him with the caveat that foreign automakers and many adoptees seem to be unaware of the realities of EV ownership in the US. If all your driving is commuting within a major city, by all means, get an EV. But if you’re an outdoor enthusiast (and many debatebly believe they are) without a personal garage it becomes much more difficult. We need meaningful investment in infrastructure and regulation from the government first. Until then, PHEV’s are the best option.
