I wish I would have known, I did the best I could with my daughters but wish I could have supported them better. I've felt guilty for passing it on once I realised what we were dealing with but I don't have any negative feelings towards my dad for passing it down to me.

I'm scared for my children to have *both* adhd AND BPII like I do 😔 ADHD alone is one thing, but the combo is....rough. my husband reassures me it will be better for our kids regardless because it be on our radar already, so they would potentially be disgnosed much earlier. But it's definitely something I worry about. Also: autism runs in my family. I honestly worry a little more about that specifically because I won't have firsthand experience to draw from when helping them navigate life 😔

I have mixed feelings; I'm pretty sure I am Audhd, and both my wife's family and my own are replete with NDs, so odds are that at least one of our 2 kids will also be ND (I already suspect my 4 year old daughter is ADHD). Whatever they end up being I don't want them to struggle like I have and still do.

No. That’s one of the reasons I don’t have them. We tend to end ourselves more often than the NT population and have comorbids that make life hard. Chronic anxiety and depression being among them
