This is probably the best demonstration of “paying it forward” that I’ve ever witnessed. I was walking into a grocery store and outside was a homeless man, who shouted to get my attention. He just waved cheerily when I looked, but didn’t ask for anything. I waved back and continued into the store. I got my groceries and remembered the man outside, so got a loaf of bread and a tin of easy open baked beans. I thought this would be tasty to eat, fill him up and he’d be able to open it easily. 🧵1/3
