I feel like I'm the opposite: I'm terrible at remembering meanings, but I'm good at connecting the dots and bringing nuance to the table. That said, I think these skills come with practice and life experience. You may not be able to do these things well *right now*, but keep trying, keep experiencing, keep listening to the cards and doing the work they ask of you, and you'll get there.

Yeah I’m not disagreeing with the people who say it takes time and practice because of course it does but sometimes that’s still not enough. I actually moved one of my potential tarot students down the astrology path instead because that was a better fit for her and the way her mind works than tarot reading.
