I work in special Ed, in a public school in California. Tomorrow we will have an active shooter drill. Told to pull the blinds, no lights, hide, keep quiet. Impossible task. Kids will be terrified whether it's real or not. . PUBLIC SCHOOLS SHOULD CLOSE WHEN THERE'S A SCHOOL SHOOTING ANYWHERE IN AMERICA. It's not hitting home. Tomorrow I have to "practice" , with special needs children, an active shooter scenario. We fkn practice now. Smh. Hold leadership accountable and VOTE. 💙💙💙
