Yeah, you're right that the calendar is divided into "Before Christ" (BC) and "Anno Domini" (AD), but it's hardly universal now. It's been secularised to "Before Common Era" (BCE) and "Common Era" (CE), so no one religion is favoured. As for the rest, the whole "dying and rising to save" bit, I’d call that a myth—on par with all other resurrection tales.
