Spoke with a lovely bank customer service and proceeded to tell her this whole saga, and let me tell you she was INVESTED. She looked up the account number, and it’s real alright but it did not belong to Rare Beauty, Inc.! Some poor customer could have been hit for a big chunk of change, and lord knows what else these scammers would have tried to talk me into doing with the money and invoices and what not. 10/?
