If you say this to me, just know I’m envisioning how great it would feel to slap you. I won’t. But I’ll be picturing it 🙂 I promise you no one has (or at least not the vast majority of people have not) ever gone no-contact with a family member out of the blue and without reason. I don’t *want* to be estranged from my mother, but eventually I had to prioritize myself and my own mental health.
