The flat out truth is that you don’t need your home to be perfect and spotless. Even as a professional organizer my home is not perfectly organized. I have about 5+ junk drawers around the house and my house reflects a true lived-in home because we do live here. 2/

When I have messes in my home and every little things seems to bug me, weather it’s dishes in the sink, dog hair on the floors, or dust on something I remind myself it’s a home that is loved and lived in, and then I take a deep breathe and take it one step at a time to clean even if that means finishing 1 task that day
