I don’t think we give shareholders enough credit for degrading the quality of life in America. Think of how many aspects of your day involve companies with shareholders demanding a profit. The reason your phone is optimized for addiction is the same reason your commute needs a car, and why your grocery store has to increase their profit margin over last year. All of this makes our lives worse, and I have no idea how you go about reversing that.
