Is Weezer on stage performing songs? Yes. Do they want to be here? It seems not.

They were the same when they played at the Basilica a few years back. Just an awful live band.

I saw them tour here about 6 years ago. They hit the stage at 9:30 and they were DONE at 10:30 sharp - encore included. They even went so far as to take about 5 of their big hits and mash them into a medley so they didn’t have to play the whole songs. This is a band with an almost 30 year career and they played their headline show for exactly 1 hour. It felt phoned in exactly as you described too. I don’t think Rivers said two words to the audience the entire time. Absolutely pathetic show.

I was so excited to see them play for the first time the Virgin Free Fest maybe 15 years ago at Merriweather. Never have a seen a band jumping up and down on trampolines and making rock and roll faces while ALSO phoning it in.

Wow I saw them 5 years ago and had an entirely different experience. Considering I hadn’t been a fan since the early 2000s, I was impressed with how good they still sounded and performed. But like I said 5 years ago in Vegas

Exactly the same thing when I saw Weezer in Winnipeg, April of 2017. So disappointing.

Tapped out after seeing them for my third time in 2016. Once they covered Toto, I felt they’d jumped the shark. Only went because it was a free ticket with my closest buds.

I’m not a huge fan, but they blew me away when they played Toronto. It was a seriously great show.

Every time I see Weezer they sound great but never look happy to be there.
