As a fellow southerner, it is so refreshing to see someone call their maternal parent by the “correct term.”

I think all my maternal aunts were under 5'. My mother was 4'10" (dad was 5'10") and my shortest aunt was about 4'6". That's why I'm 5'5".

Just above 5'5" here and while I'm shorter than all the men in the family, I'm taller than all the women.
