Dear communities upset they don’t get to have first choice in LTC placements. Please remember, someone has to die for you to get a spot. We cannot control that. If you take an acute care bed, people are left waiting well you wait for someone to die to get your first choice. People have died waiting for an acute care bed. Cost of an acute care bed is 1000s per day. If you don’t need it, you need to leave it. Go to an avalible care home, go home or pay to stay. Your choice.
