I was just having this convo the other day…it’s gotta be so difficut for people who are dating these days…back in the day, a 1st date was meeting up for coffee or some kinda casual entertainment (my wife and I went to a gallery reception for ours)…an expensive night out was a 3rd (or maybe 2nd) date, & even then, only if both parties were really vibing…now, you’ll get put on blast if you aren’t taking somebody you hardly know out to fine dining, or have some top notch concert tickets or whatever
