Was just telling my girl last night, Im blessed to be navigating this shit as an older dude. I trained myself in my 30s to not care about anyone’s Opinions of me, except the people closest to me. I see people Hating or hear about them hating all the time. I don’t even consider myself “successful” yet, and I still don’t react haha It’s just a good rule even outside hip-hop. The minute you respond or let what they said dictate your next move - you’ve shown them they matter to you.
