I know it can be so frustrating! Some engagement is more subtle. I follow many accounts I never comment on. In fact, most. But I do send reels to friends and repost some to stories and like a whole lot of posts. And sometimes if I find great value, even save reels or posts. 😁 We’re often the people who just want to mind our own business but still want to support and see great content. I’ve realized that MOST followers don’t overtly engage. But if I want them to, asking questions works wonders!

I am still trying to figure this out. And, at the same time, I am really tired of trying to figure this out. I did read a post earlier today that you should actually remove unengaged followers because the algorithm here supposedly will not push your content to your actual followers. It will supposedly see your content as "irrelevant" or "low interest."

I’ve found that the majority of people are passive. I don’t care. Let them follow. I focus on those who are engaging and desire connection. What do you think?
