Gotta engage and search for the better stuff more. I had a lot on my feed for a while. Also it seems it subsided a bit when US schools started back.

In real life, they wouldn’t act like that. But venting online is one of the few outlets that people have. Whenever a stranger starts acting aggrieved, I try to remember that they’re likely going through things that I have absolutely nothing to do with.

I have noticed a ton of that lately as well. I think the posts are controversial, so they end up getting pushed out more.

Oof sorry, you missed the fun era of social media by about 12 years or so. They all push the same divisive hot-take, outrageous crap for “engagement” now.

I like to have fun with those people. They just repeat the same stereotypes without actually thinking things through for themselves. It’s the “Americans have no culture” as they consume tons of American culture every day. Or “American food sucks” as they have crappy versions(McDonalds, KFC, etc.) of our food all over their country. At the same time they’ll try to take credit for our culture, food, whatever and say we’re descendants of other cultures. So apparently our culture is their fault🤣

Almost 2 years in Brazil, specifically Rio de Janeiro. I get Americans viewpoints about Brazil and Brazilians viewpoints about America. Quite a difference
