I had a Chromebook from work to try for a while. The system works pretty fast and the prices of these products are cheap. If you want to search stuff, write a quick e-mail or wish to use anything of your Google Home, it’s a nice OS. But, that’s about it. I wouldn’t do intensive working or gaming on this OS.

I tried Flex for a few weeks a while back. If you stay within the feature set, it is incredibly nice to use, but it is a limited system. With Linux container support, you can actually get some image editing and really light video editing done as well, surprisingly some steam games run as well.

I don't see a point using ChromeOS alongside something much better like Windows or MacOS. ChromeOS is just like having a Android tablet represented as a laptop.

I have switched from Mac OS to ChromOS, and honestly can't see myself switching back.
