If the end goal of your deconstruction of faith/beliefs/denominational doctrine/[insert your reason here], is to get more aligned with the Biblical principles/standards, you are moving in the right direction. Your observation/experiences are opening your eyes to what is false & walking towards the truth. But if the end goal of your deconstruction is to not have a reconstruction, then you are headed downward in a dangerous path. Where all you remain is skeptical & theoretical.

If you are deconstructing as an excuse to leave Biblical principles, then why not be honest with yourself. Forget deconstructing, just say, “I don’t believe anymore” or “I am confused” or “I don’t know what to believe.” It’s in this sincerity, that God can then meet us, and bring clarity & yes He will! Don’t jump on the bandwagon of, “well everyone is doing it,” know why you’re actually doing it.
