Despite stellar performances from Andra Day and Glenn Close, The Deliverance on Netflix fell flat for me bc it felt like 2 movies pushed together into 1 and the transition from inner city family melodrama to exorcist knock off was jarring. I liked the first half and then once the supernatural part began, it went off the rails so abruptly. Wish I bailed halfway through.
