I sent an email to a higher up to apply for a paid position at the organization I volunteer at. They did not bother to read my name, pronouns, experience level, phone number, or email. Which were included in the email text as well as the attached cover letter and resume. It took 4 emails back and forth. I almost just copied the original email and highlighted it.
