Miles per kilowatt hour is pulled from my own Ioniq 5 where I averaged 4.1 over 11k miles. Everything else is from a Google search, so take with a grain of salt. 3 million EVs as of 2024. 14k avg miles per year. If we had 30mpg, that would be 1,400,000,000 gallons of gasoline. 1/2

3 分鐘內	David Jacobsen kiklion0199	Instead, assuming 4 miles per kWh, and 22 kWh/gallon of LNG, that’s only: (14k*3 million )/4 = 10,500,000,000 kWh (../22) = 477,272,727 gallons of LNG. For a savings of about 900,000 gallons of some liquid fuel per year. That feels sort of impressive and is flying under the radar.
