BREAKING:
Air Canada has reportedly offered its pilots (ALPA) a 30% pay increase over three years, including a minimum 20% raise upfront, in an attempt to avoid a strike amid stalled negotiations.
The offer also allegedly includes enhanced pension and health benefits. Canadian pilots, on average, earn approximately 50%-60% less than their American counterparts. Pilots are set to strike mid-September if no agreement is reached, as they seek to close the pay gap with U.S. airlines.
