The style of play was not for point guards to score due to pace, physicality, style of play and there being more dominate low post scores than now. lead guards are encourage and told to score. You think guys like Tim Hardaway, Zeke, Kevin Johnson, Mark Price, Dana Barros, Etc etc couldn’t score 25 points a game if they was told go get me 25 in todays era?
