I'm trying to solve some DNA matches who I believe descend from my Botelho line in the Azores. The usual problems: matches don't respond and their trees are skimpy, ending with grandparents. I don't mind working their trees, but with Sao Miguel Island there is a record gap. Online records end around 1905 for all parishes. If you're lucky, their ancestors emigrated and left a trail. I've got unlinked trees in my Ancestry tree hoping someone filled the gap for me. Genealogy Threads
