Yesterday I ‘just’ wanted to paint some evocative autumn scenes, without the pressure of filming & explaining each step or breaking down every pigment choice. My compromise was a 13-minute video, with 9 minutes as a timelapse set to chill music. I posted it on Patreon, and it ended up getting the most comments ! So this was a reminder for me that it’s okay to not always have the stamina for in-depth explanations—sometimes, a more relaxed, intuitive approach works just as well.
