What if teachers refused to go back to work & parents refused to send there children to school. A protest like that would impact the economy. Money is the only thing that talks. As long as everyone just keeps going back to normal the next day this insane cycle will never end. And for the schools that experienced the latest mass shooting? It’s a sympathetic gesture to give the students and staff the rest of the week off but what about next week? This is all so fucking sick. GunControlNow

But that would inconvenience parents and Covid has shown how that goes soooo yeah… The outrage from parents demanding better when we literally hold the protest in our power. And while I believe systemic change and laws need to change, the powers that be have shown for 25 years that their lives arent more valuable than NRA money so if it’s about the money then let’s protest the hottest commodity - our kids butts in their seats aka funding.
