Shit got real in the neighborhood this morning. A small brush fire that was all but stomped out last night kicked up with vigor when the sun rose and the strong morning winds shifted my way. It felt like it was a block away when I opened my front door. Thankfully, it never jumped the Boise River. God bless those badass wildland firecrews and aerial attack. They licked it dead out.
