Ukrainian troops who surrendered were immediately executed by Russian troops. I blame Biden for not allowing Ukraine to use long-range weapons provided by the West to strike military resources deep inside Russia which are enabling the Russians to advance relentlessly in Eastern Ukraine. Biden fears allowing Ukraine to strike deep inside Russia would lead Russia to escalate the conflict, including the use of nuclear weapons. Biden should make clear such a course would be catastrophic for Russia.
