Join a local Facebook group for that area and introduce yourself! Those groups also help with staying in the loop when it comes to good food spots, local events, things to beware, etc.

Let it come to you naturally. Do as the locals do & they will know that you’re not from the area but will appreciate you trying to get involved with the culture.

Just needed a change of scenery. It also allows you to truly experience life on your own and getting to know yourself better.

I moved from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Houston and I went to different events like picnics, I did bumble bff ( I met three amazing women on there and I recently went to a concert with one of the ladies two weeks ago and we meet 2 years ago) it’s not easy in the beginning but I WOULD do it all over again
