Foam or Lacrosse ball rolling, many of my lifts are full ROM or can easily be adapted to full ROM, if something feels tight, pressure or even better, trigger point release, is more likely to help than more tension.

Stretching. Foam rolling is similar to a massage. I used to get a massage every quarter for pain relief. One year I did static stretching every night M-F for one hour for 3 months. When I went to the masseuse, I didn't have any pain anywhere. After I realized this, I cut down on massage visits and stretched more.
