My hottest take that I'm willing to share: "Cum" is just as acceptable as a verb as "come" is, in a spicy context. Having preferences is fine! However, using "cum" as a verb is not incorrect. Language evolves, and enough people use "cum" as a verb, and it is understood well enough as a verb, that it has become a verb. Personally, I prefer to use "cum" in my own writing because it feels smuttier, which I like 😂
