As an educator of 28 years, I have had my fair share of hearing the news report another fatal school shooting. One was recently in our school district. But this is what I want to know…why does no other country’s schools have the fears we have each day? Why are we pitied by other countries for the atrocities that happen in US schools? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? Kindly and respectfully keep politics out of your answer as we educators literally walk into our classrooms each day selflessly.
