Why are dyson hair tools so expensive, don’t they damage your hair? Are they safe for everyday use? To those who have is it worth it?

Husband bought me a Dyson Airwrap (Copper color) back in 2020 as a gift, and still using it regularly. I haven't got any issues with it, and even my husband uses it too. I think it is worth it.
