Berserker traditions, throat singing: Throat singing was a way for berserkers to connect their energy to something or someone without visualizing or energy work or anything overly complicated. Their training involves activating things through the war cry so their voice is a natural choice for these traditions. Some songs had words and were considered sacred rites with great significance. Often they would chant without words. Context mattered. It was more common that they had no words.

So some individuals or clans would have songs for ceremonies then in situations like before combat they would just makes chant to connect with each other and build one another's power. This was used for any kind of inspiration or determination it was their core activation for their frenzy. So these chants would be done to set a mode. There is no direct intent in this, only the mode presented.
