One thing I’ve noticed that’s a huge difference between hearing and deaf people is the eye contact while conversing. I usually stop talking if I feel like the person isn’t looking at me. Unless they signal to me to keep talking. As a deaf person, I rely on visual cues when having conversations. It feels awkward to me to continue to talk if there’s no eye contact.
