I’m Asian and I was doing a DEI talk and I had a white dude bring up that argument to me. I shut him down fast. Idk why he thought that he would change my mind on anything. Anecdotal of course, but it felt a lot like how men suddenly care about women’s sports because of trans people. It’s just bigotry.

I understand your frustration. While it's important to acknowledge past decisions and their impacts, the focus should now be on creating inclusive and equitable systems moving forward. With university admissions, this means developing new inclusive policies that ensure fair opportunities for all students, regardless of background. Channel your energy elsewhere.
