I’m not a server, but I feel like we need to give more servers grace. Sometimes service is bad due to short staff, overworking the servers, and etc. however, if they’re rude in general, that’s different. They also don’t make much. I think you should tip them based on what you can afford, but we should definitely always tip. I just feel like if you can’t leave a tip, you shouldn’t be dining out.
