Hororing your parents comes with a multitude of blessings including long life. Becoming a parent myself, I’ve gain more understanding of the heart of God concerning this commandment. God wants to honor our earthly parents and in turn he honors us. “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.” ‭‭ Exodus‬ ‭20‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
