That basement is straighter, cleaner, and nicer than anything in my 200 year old house, lol. Get thee a photography backdrop, slide it in front of the stuff you don't want to show and voilá, gorgeous studio!

Old Story post, but up to March this year this was my only workspace in my livingroom. But as that whole block is going to be demolished I had to move and now have a separate artroom (that is still messy and not "Instagram Pretty")

I built my studio and love it, but I am an absolute chaos goblin. I think it’s also important to remember how much of social media is an illusion, even with a photogenic space- folks are putting a ton of effort into making things look effortless.
