Despite being a longstanding Pink Floyd/David Gilmour fan, I have to confess I'm always a bit apprehensive about David's solo albums i.e. "Rattle that Lock" was a bit hit and miss. However, the new one is an absolute belter. Some great solos and not a low key filler moment on there. He said it was his best work since Dark Side, and as ridiculous as that may sound (considering his on Floyd era albums), he might be right.
