My parents want to move almost clear across the country in a few months and my MIL can’t chase an active toddler.

My father died before I ever had a child. My mother was ill with COPD by the time my children were born. We all spent time together, but her health wouldn't allow her to actually be in charge of toddlers. My in laws were in Georgia.
